Atxu Amann, leader professor of the Workshop 03 of the Master in Collective Housing 2018, was the curator of the Spanish Pavilion for the present edition of the Venezia Biennale.The Spanish Pavilion, called "Becoming", has听the purpuse of听showing the relevant works of the students and new architects from different learning environments in Spain, and听placing special emphasis on the architect's new multidisciplinary profile. 143 proposals from students and architects were exhibited by "tattooing" the interior walls of the pavilion that was actually restored for the event.

Official Description:

becoming听shows Spanish architecture through the works of a superb set of home-grown architects, where women are currently more in number than men. They demand rethinking the conditions of learning environments, abandoning predefined order schemes. The exhibition focuses on the actions, discourses and productions of the students, showing the complexity of our operational logics and trying to transform them into systems as simple as the choreographies of everyday life to make them accessible to all citizens.听becoming听is an experience which opens the door to an unknown atmosphere where the students build up the conflicts, the needs and other ways of living the world.听becoming听draws an informational layer in the 1952 pavilion designed by the architect Vaquero Palacios. On its physical and virtual walls (b-e-c-o-m-i-n-g.com), four hundred works from Spanish learning environments collected through a national open call speak about future architecture.
